“Not only does buying local ensure the quality is top notch but it lessens the footprint of a rather indulgent trade!” – Emma, Store Manager

A Touch Of Class Florist is a Western Australian family owned and run independent florist which was established in 1981. There is nothing we love more than our home soil and local products which is why almost all of our flowers are WA grown with the exception of orchids and tropical leaves which we import, as well as some field flowers which we order from the Eastern states.

Why you should buy locally grown WA flowers

There is no denying WA flowers are the best. Okay so maybe we are a little bit bias. But what it means for you is that when you’re next buying a beautiful bouquet of roses or a vase of irises that you’re getting quality and freshness that is far superior to anything else.

It’s important that we make sure the flowers that end up on your doorstep or on your office desk have been well handled and cared for along their journey from the grower to you. If your flowers are looked after well and come from a top end supplier (like the ones we mention below) then ultimately your flowers will last for longer.

At our Perth florist we source fresh flowers daily so you or your lucky receipt can be totally wowed when your flower delivery arrives. There is nothing better than seeing a big bunch of fresh and exuberant flowers that won’t die or start wilting in mere hours.

Our Favourite Fresh Flower Suppliers

Our primary supplier is Floraco, who have their own nurseries in Forrestfield. Floraco are one of the largest wholesale suppliers in Western Australia and they have an exceptional reputation as premier growers in the industry. Throughout the year we stock their beautiful Gerberas, Roses, Asiatic and Oriental Lilliums, Chrysanthemums and Longiflorum and in winter we like to get in Tulips, Iris and Strelitzia.

We also like to buy from Everbloom who are a WA owned and run family business based in Leederville. Everbloom supply excellent WA grown grade 1 cut hothouse flowers & roses as well as cut field flowers. And for our greenery we like to go to Sonters Fern Nursery.

There are so many benefits to buying locally grown flowers just as there are to eat local and seasonal produce. We love supporting local producers and by purchasing your next bunch of flowers from A Touch of Class Florist you too will be supporting our great state!

We are passionate about locally grown flowers which bring only the best quality to your bouquet or arrangement. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and Instagram account to see all the beautiful daily sourced flowers we are getting into the shop!
